A Message from the Board President -Lisa Albany

As I begin my second year as President of the Board of Directors, I remain incredibly humbled to lead such a wonderful organization doing extraordinary work to improve the lives of individuals with disabilities, development delays and Autism. I extend my sincerest gratitude to my fellow board members who give so generously of their time, talent and treasure. My appreciation extends further to The Arc Team who make leading this amazing organization such an honor. I have seen first-hand the expertise, dedication and deep commitment our Team has for not only those we are privileged to serve but to each other. Together, we continue to impact lives and shape brighter futures, and I could not be more proud of the accomplishments that have been made throughout the past year.

In the 2024-2025 Annual Report, you will clearly see the evidence of The Arc of Chester County in action. The critical work being done by our skilled staff, the volunteers and leaders who selflessly and willingly support us in that important work and the remarkable influence our donors and partners have on our ability to support those entrusted in our care. This is affirmed by the 97 percent of annual survey respondents who indicated that The Arc did improve or enhance their quality of life. And it is further confirmed by The Arc’s financial stability and having remained compliant and in good standing with our local, state, and federal partners again in the 2024-2025 year.

Another achievement this past year has been the progress made toward ensuring a prosperous future by the completion of several goals identified within The Arc’s Five-Year Strategic Plan. It is with this strategic roadmap that The Arc will be ready to weather times of uncertainty and meet the opportunities ahead which will likely demand much of us. Fortunately, and thankfully, we are a strong and dedicated community supported by fierce advocates, generous donors and loyal partners whose ambitions and dedication are limitless.

I am confident that, together, The Arc of Chester County will continue to be a leading provider of programs and services for individuals with disabilities and their families.

Please know that we remain resolute in our commitment to support and advocate for and with you and your family in your homes, at work and the community at large.

Together, we will continue to support individuals with disabilities, developmental delays and Autism as well as their families to Achieve with us every day!
