The Arc of Pennsylvania

The Arc of Pennsylvania was started 68 years ago by parents of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities who fought against society’s expectation that their children be sent to state institutions.

Chester County Department of Mental Health/Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities

The County Intellectual Disability (ID) program serves 1500 county residents registered with the program. Each year the ID program uses about $58 million in federal, state, and county funds to purchase services and supports for individuals with intellectual disability and their families.

Delaware County Department of Mental Health/Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities

It is the policy of the Delaware County AE to monitor all service providers and Supports Coordination Organizations serving residents of Delaware County to ensure that they follow Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) guidelines.

Montgomery County Intermediate Unit

Montgomery County Intermediate Unit is one of 29 Intermediate Units formed by the Pennsylvania State Legislature in 1971 to provide support to local school districts. Created to replace the County Office of Superintendent, intermediate units provide special services as needed.

Office of Vocational Rehabilitation

The Pennsylvania Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, or OVR, provides vocational rehabilitation services to help persons with disabilities prepare for, obtain, or maintain employment.

Office of Developmental Programs

The mission of the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) is to support Pennsylvanians with developmental disabilities to achieve greater independence, choice and opportunity in their lives.

Chester County Intermediate Unit

The Chester County Intermediate Unit provides services to the 12 school districts in Chester County. This includes services to nearly 86,000 public and non-public school students and over 6,000 educators.
